Glenallachie unveils oldest core release to date

Speyside distillery. Glenallachie is launching its oldest core-range bottling yet: The GlenAllachie 30 year old Cask Strength Batch 1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The new addition to the flagship-range is the first in a series of annual small-batch releases, with only 2,000 bottles available worldwide.

The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve No. 4

The Lakes distillery released its first single malt whisky in 2019. The Whiskymaker's Reserve is now in its fourth incarnation and comes bottled at 52% abv. This sherry-led single malt retails for around £65 a bottle.

Jura unveil Festival bottling

Douglas Laing “Whisky Discovery” Tasting

A couple of weeks ago I received an invite from the lovely folks at Douglas Laing to join them on a virtual tasting of some forthcoming releases. Naturally I gratefully accepted the offer. The line up featured four drams from their Remarkable Regional Malts range, including new versions of Timorous Beastie, The Epicurean, Scallywag and Big Peat.

1770 The Cooper’s Cask
