The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve No. 4

The Lakes distillery released its first single malt whisky in 2019. The Whiskymaker's Reserve is now in its fourth incarnation and comes bottled at 52% abv. This sherry-led single malt retails for around £65 a bottle.

Jura unveil Festival bottling

Jura single malt Scotch whisky has announced the launch of its distillery cask Feis Ile Edition 2021. Set for release on 6th June, this single cask will support the annual Jura Music Festival.

Ardgowan to release Shipwright Blended Malt

Ardgowan Distillery will release the next instalment of their Clydebuilt blended malt series on May 13th. Shipwright is a unique, limited edition blend of malts combining whisky from four Highland and Speyside distilleries.

Douglas Laing “Whisky Discovery” Tasting

A couple of weeks ago I received an invite from the lovely folks at Douglas Laing to join them on a virtual tasting of some forthcoming releases. Naturally I gratefully accepted the offer.
